Judge Silva Speaks at NJSBA 2020 Annual Meeting and Convention

For the first time ever – the New Jersey State Bar Association 2020 Annual Meeting and Convention was held as a virtual symposium. As the voice of New Jersey attorneys, the NJSBA supports more than 18,000 members by fostering professionalism, advancing personal development and encouraging participation.

Marcia L. Silva, J.S.C. was part of a distinguished panel that addressed parenting and custody issues. Her presentation was part of a virtual panel entitled Custody Fatigue During a Pandemic. Some of the issues were addressed were what happens when one parent refuses to turn over the child for parenting time, citing Covid-19 as a concern, or what if a parent is an essential worker and unable to exercise parenting time.
